Hiking Broads Fork, Robinson Variation (2024)
A feeble attempt at an unnamed peak above Broad's Fork
My brother has this peak he wants to summit that’s visible from his office, on the ridge southeast of Storm Mountain and northwest of Twin Peaks. Unfortunately the route options include: Stairs Gulch, Ferguson Canyon, and Broads Fork, none of which go to this ridge (easily). I read about the Robinson Variation in a book that looks like it could work, so we gave it a half-hearted try.
We’ll try this again this summer after a litle more research.
